Please join us for rehearsal on the 16th of September as we start another season of wonderful music and friendship!

​Starting September 16, 2024, Monday afternoon in-person rehearsals at 4 P.M. in the DY High School.
Doors for in-person rehearsal open shortly after 3 PM.    Come early to pick up your music (or return old music.)
Note:  No rehearsal on school holidays or vacations.

The New Horizons Band of Cape Cod is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit band associated with the New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA).  There are over 220 groups all over North America with even a few international groups.  Some groups even conduct "Band Camps" during the summer.  The New Horizon programs are for "adults" who are:
  • 50-ish and older (or you consider yourself to be an adult), and
  • Want to make new friends, and
  • Want to share your love of concert band music.
Our concert band is for both those who have never before played in a group setting or haven't played since school (20, 30, 40, 50+ years ago.)  We provide an opportunity for "adults" on Cape Cod to learn to play in a concert band.

Please note:  We are a concert band.  String Players:  have you considered learning to play a wind instrument or percussion?   All instruments played in the band need the consent of our Director (not an audition).
